Annie moved to Richmond in 2015 with her husband Robbie and their two young children, and they’ve since added a third to their brood.
Annie grew up on a farm and thought she could never live outside the Blue Ridge Mountains, but she has grown to love her new city and enjoys exploring it via foot, pedal, and minivan.
She has a rich knowledge of the local doughnut culture and enjoys reading, crossword puzzles, cooking, dance parties, and long walks without having to push a stroller.
She majored in English and History at the University of Virginia and is excited to get back into writing while connecting with this wonderful community of Richmond moms.

Bunny Young
Bunny is the proud mother of five-year-old Ryann Grace, whom her family affectionately calls “Rocky.” She is also Chairwoman of Pawssible Service Dog Connection and the Founder & President of A Better Place Consulting.
Her passion for supporting individual strategies for success in companies and teams has given her the chance to travel nationally to lead workshops and retreats and to share her mission to help build a world where individuals love what they do, why they do it, and who they are.
Bunny is extremely grateful for the experience of motherhood after suffering four miscarriages prior to being blessed with Rocky and has been a volunteer with the March of Dimes since going into preterm labor at just 28 weeks.
Bunny has lived in China and volunteered in Ecuador—experiences which were eye-opening and humbling for her.
She advocates for those who are differently abled: “Growing up with a heart condition, I understand what it is like to have a disability. Being able to empower others for independence and show my daughter that being different is beautiful and that she can do anything is the most important thing to me.”
She enjoys spending time with her family including her service dog Goose, a 120 pound Great Dane. She volunteers with Dreamcatcher’s Therapeutic Riding, the Alzheimer’s Association, and serves as the Chair of Louisa Lead Share, an active member of TRIAD, serves on the Extraordinary Women’s Exchange Committee and a Member of the Hanover Council on Aging.[/threecol_two_last]

Chastity Hise
Chastity is a happily married, mother of two amazing children and two furry puppies.
She is the Owner of Chas Hise Hair and is a total book nerd.

Christa Threlfall
Christa spent several years growing up in Richmond before moving to Charlotte, NC. In early 2017, she moved back to RVA with her husband and 4 children.
She is most grateful for her relationship with Jesus Christ. Beyond that, she loves being outside with her kids, drinking good coffee, laughing with her husband, and eating Indian, Thai, Mediterranean, and pretty much any other kind of delicious food.

Colleen Nichols
Colleen was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia and became a Richmond transplant in 2012 when her husband’s job relocated them to the area. After growing up in Northern Virginia and attending college in Farmville, Virginia, Colleen is convinced that Richmond is the happy medium.
Colleen graduated with a B.S. in psychology in 2010, married her college sweetheart the following year, and earned her M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling in 2013. In graduate school, Colleen was so Orange is the New Black and worked with male inmates (yes, in prison) but found her niche in the EAP (Employee Assistance Program) field here in Richmond.
After her first son was born in 2015, Colleen quit her job and is now in that weird work/stay-at-home-mom limbo. Colleen stays at home but also owns a life coaching business and blog, both of which are geared towards empowering women and shining a light on the “real life” side of motherhood.
Colleen lives in Moseley, VA with her husband, 18-month old son, and their Great Dane, Penny all of which are anxiously awaiting baby boy #2 who is due in December. When she’s not writing or working (or pregnant), Colleen enjoys red wine, sushi, and yoga pants.[/threecol_two_last]

Colleen Wallace
Colleen is a former electrical engineer who now stays home to relish in the trials and tribulations of life with three boys four and under.
The city of Richmond has her heart, and after meeting her sweet husband Sean at VCU, they decided to call the Museum District home.
She is always seeking true authenticity and when not chasing her crew (or backyard chickens), she pursues a passion for birth work as a Doula through To Love Radiantly.
Oddly enough, she financially contributes to her family more regularly by hand modeling…for real!
When time allows, Colleen can be found happily outside or attempting to be a “minimalist” but mostly for sanity purposes!
She and her husband enjoy long runs through the city that count as “the best dates ever” and typically is riverside with the boys getting dirty.
Emotions are worn on her sleeve and being an open book is something she just can’t control.

Deanna Seymour
Deanna has called Richmond home for over 15 years.
In the past two years, she got hitched to her awesome husband Matt, gave birth to her baby girl Ruby Jean, and decided to leave teaching art full time to focus on her photography career.
She’s super passionate about empowering kids through portraiture with Wild Design Photography, and couldn’t be happier about the path that she’s on.

Emma Fitch Harrison
Emma is a Richmond native.
She and her husband, Davis, have been friends since childhood, eventually fell in love, and tied the knot in the fall of 2016.
Emma is mom to Ava and is expecting her first child with Davis this summer! Although her favorite job is being a mom, Emma is currently a student at Regent University, studying communications. When she graduates in May, she plans to continue blogging while pursuing a career working to promote local businesses.
Emma is also very passionate about health and fitness and is a certified Personal Trainer.

Erin Rice
Erin, a graduate from VCU and an RVA girl through and through, works full-time as a Preschool Director at Rainbow Station’s flagship school, where she gets to be a kid at heart and remind parents that we really have all been there.
She and her husband, Rick, married in 2008 on the same beach where they fell in love. They have three wild children, Cooper, Griffin, and Avery Quinn and a boxer mutt, Fletch, who is the oldest puppy you will ever meet.
A self-proclaimed eternal optimist, she and her family enjoy living life and turning everything into an adventure.
She loves trips to Target (alone at 8 am), iced coffee, baking, cheering for her Rams, staying healthy, fresh air and introducing her kids to real music.

Jessie Culyer
Jessi Culyer is a mamapreneur with three businesses to support moms. A recovering perfectionist, human doing, and control freak, she fully embraces personal growth and development to be the best version of herself. She uses her passion for food choices and transformational life coaching to help you become who you were created to be and live your best life.
Jessi moved to RVA from NY by randomly choosing a city close enough to the beach, the lake, the city, the mountains, and a great church. She is married to her best friend with three kids 8 and under.
Growing up as an Army brat, she loves to travel and embraces change. She is scuba certified and has jumped out of a perfectly good plane twice. Kaira Boston
Kaira is a Richmond native. She ventured beyond the city and state quite a few times, coming back in between living elsewhere. This latest time, she settled in RVA with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.

Kate Fletcher
Kate was born and raised in Virginia and has been an RVA resident since 2002.
Married since 2004, Kate and her husband, Gary, have three boys: Matthew, Wesley, and Henry. All three boys have autism, so the Fletcher family is very active in autism advocacy, awareness, acceptance, and research. They are members of the Autism Society of Central Virginia, and Kate periodically writes as a guest blogger for Autism Speaks.
She also works full-time as a middle school history teacher in Chesterfield County and is pursuing National Board Certification.
When not at school or shuttling her boys around town, Kate enjoys spending time outside, especially at Virginia State Parks and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. She also enjoys shopping, eating, and lots of coffee.

Kim Alley
Kim moved from Texas to Northern Virginia for work in 2010, where she met and married John, a Richmond native, in 2013. A year later, they decided to leave the hustle of NoVA for a life in Richmond.
A full-time working mom, Kim loves cooking, reading, quoting musicals, historical jokes, Texas Aggie football, and believes cheese should be its own food group.

Liz B. Baker
A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Liz moved to the RVA to study hot and cold glass and ceramic art at VCU. Her high school sweetheart, Dan, transferred to VCU, too, they married, and made Richmond their home over 20 years ago.
Since then, Liz has worked in marketing and digital consulting for several Fortune 500 companies and was a DJ and morning show co-host at a local radio station. She is now the Managing Editor of the Richmond Moms Blog, a systems analyst for a Fortune 100 financial services company, an artist (www.lizziebbaker.com), and the owner and chief digital strategist at Express Optimization.

Lucretia Anderson
Lucretia is originally from the Washington, DC area.
She set off to earn a BFA in Theatre at West Virginia University in 1999 before following her star and her then-boyfriend to New York City for a couple of years.
Deciding that she rather enjoyed eating and green space, she moved back to DC and worked for a number of years as a Theatre Educator/Arts Administrator for various arts organizations.
After 10 years of marriage, she moved to RVA in 2013 as a single mom to a pre-teen daughter, Alana, and spirit-filled son, Parker. She and the kids dove head first into new adventures in the River City and have fallen in absolute love with all of its charms, including her partner Danny.
A lover of Shakespeare and all things literary, she is passionate about writing, teaching, and yummy chocolate goodness (trust her, they all go hand in hand).
On the weekends she can be found running around the city (literally as she is an avid, albeit slow, runner), attempting to maintain something that resembles an orderly home, and finding something fun or interesting to get into with her family.[/threecol_two_last]
