The final members of this diverse group of moms that are bringing you original content and insight on Richmond Moms Blog are two moms who have been at it for a while now; what you might call experienced mothers.  Even so, these moms know that connection, compassion and collaboration with other women they respect are the keys to not just surviving parenting, but to thrive in it!

Please meet these incredible moms ::

Holly Curell is an 8 year RVA resident. She and her husband, Ken planted roots here after growing up in Western Michigan and spending a two-year stint in New York City where she worked as an executive assistant. Though she is still actively trying to “just survive” the hot Virginia summers, she can’t imagine raising her young family anywhere else. Holly resides in the Westend and is mom to three children – Mia (7), Tristan (3.5) and Hurricane Harper (2.5). An active member of her church community, Holly serves on numerous committees and organizations. Living and dining in community with others is what brings her joy, and if she could live on cheese, bread and wine alone she would! She also enjoys bad reality TV, her two cats Nessie and Violet, preschool-level crafting and themed parties.
Holly also writes for her own blog – Holly at Nap Time.

Lucretia Anderson is originally from the Washington, DC area. She set off to earn a BFA in Theatre at West Virginia University in 1999 before following her star and her then boyfriend to New York City for a couple of years. Deciding that she rather enjoyed eating and green space, she moved back to DC and worked for a number of years as a Theatre Educator/Arts Administrator for various arts organizations. After 10 years of marriage, she moved to RVA in 2013 as a single mom to a pre-teen daughter Alana (11) and spirit-filled son Parker (7). She and the kids dove head first into new adventures in the River City and have fallen in absolute love with all of its charms, including her partner Danny. A lover of Shakespeare and all things literary, she is passionate about writing, teaching and yummy chocolate goodness (trust her, they all go hand in hand). On the weekends she can be found running around the city (literally, she is an avid, albeit slow, runner), attempting to maintain something that resembles an orderly home and finding something fun or interesting to get into with her family.

Christina’s passion to inspire women, and to bring them together in a way that is authentic and brave drive her to create a community that will change the world for the better, one family at a time. When she's not writing, you can usually find Christina out exploring a local museum, library or hiking trail with her three children or out tasting some of the delicious food Richmond has to offer with her husband.
